Rhys visited the Maritime Museum with his best mate and they have been submarine obsessed since! This is one of the best parts of parenting I think. When they find that passion for something and then helping them explore it.

This is now on the radar for crafting with the boys. It was lovely to see them so involved in helping me find the image and of course they want it to be BLUE! I have a few ideas swirling in my head!

Sydney quilt and craft show this week. Watch out!

Binding

Binding, binding, binding and binding some more. Slowly but surely the pirate quilt is getting done.

I am off to see, “Sex In the City” tonight and way, way, way too excited about it.. Also off to doctor this afternoon for yet another stage of the never ending cold. We will probably pick up something more exotic at the office while we are waiting. Fun stuff!

Bedside Lamps

I stopped by Laura Ashley’s outlet near Spotlight in Sydney and fell in love with these lamps. They are glass bases with dusty pink, silk shades. They shouted, “Take me home” and I had to buy them. They have the tiniest chips on the base corners, so were marked down. I asked for a bigger discount for the two which helped the cause. They are now artfully placed very, very high out of Sloan’s reach until she can appreciate them a bit more.

Sewing is actually progressing! I have had a very slow recovery on the cold front, but will hopefully have some progress photos to share soon.
